The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it can be alarmed concerning the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office status sassa dedicated to service the area every day. The provider level established for intervention ordeals a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
